Jordan Spieth Proves (Again) He's One of Golf's Good Guys

He might not take home a trophy, but Jordan Spieth has already won this week.

On the Wednesday before the start of the Players Championship, the two-time major winner appeared at an event organized by the Tesori Family Foundation for children with special needs, according to Golfweek's Jim McCabe.

Founded in 2009 by former PGA Tour player and veteran caddie Paul Tesori and his wife Michelle, the foundation found its current focus when the Tesori's young son, Isaiah, was born with Down syndrome.

In a short visit, Spieth hit balls, talked to children and their parents and posed for photos.

"He didn't have to do this," Tesori said, "but it's the type of person he is. It was really, really cool of him. It means a lot to us."

Spieth, whose younger sister Ellie has special needs, was as gracious off the course as he is on it.

"Whatever I can do," Spieth told the gathering. "I know it's a very small world, that it's a very tight-knit world."
