2016 NBA Eastern Conference Finals schedule: Cavaliers vs. Raptors starts Tuesday in Cleveland

The Toronto Raptors beat the Miami Heat in Game 7 of their second-round series on Sunday afternoon and will advance to the Eastern Conference Finals for the first time in franchise history. The No. 2 seed Raptors will battle the No. 1 seed Cleveland Cavaliers in a best-of-seven series beginning Tuesday night in Cleveland for the right to advance to the NBA Finals.

This marks the second straight Eastern Conference Finals appearance for the Cavaliers, who lost in the NBA Finals in 2015. LeBron James is one series win away from advancing to his sixth straight NBA Finals, including four trips and two titles with the Miami Heat from 2011-2014.

Cleveland (57-25) has yet to lose a game during this postseason, sweeping the Pistons and Hawks in the first two rounds.

Toronto (56-26) won 50 games for the first time in franchise history this season, and its two series wins this year, over the Pacers and Heat, are just its second and third all-time.

The Cavaliers lost two of three regular season games against the Raptors, falling in both games in Toronto by a total of six points, plus a 22-point victory in Cleveland on Jan. 4.

Every game of the Eastern Conference Finals will be televised by ESPN, with Mike Breen on play-by-play alongside analysts Jeff Van Gundy and Mark Jackson.
