FORMULA 1 BAKU, AZERBAIJAN 2016 GRAND PRIX 19 JUNE

A new road circuit in Baku, Azerbaijan 2016 is the setting for this season's F1 European Grand Prix 2016. This comes just a couple years after F1 added a race in Sochi, Russia. The 2 countries are same in their desires to available a more upscale, alluring front to the rest of the world, and adding a F1 race is absolutely one road to do it.



All people will be on the 2 Mercedes racer,L.Hamilton and N.Rosberg, during Saturday's qualifying session. Of course, abundant will also be looking at Ferrari's S.Vettel, specially after he pushed Lewis Hamilton so hard in the Canadian Grand Prix 2016 last week.


At that run S.Vettel, who had qualified in 3rd behind a front row Mercedes lockout, took both cars in front of him around the 1st corner to win the race lead. The lead didn't hold though, especially as Mercedes managed to get Hamilton on a one-stop tire tactics that paid off with a race win. Nico Rosberg, who had qualified in 2nd,was pushed off by his teammate in the 1st turn and fell back into 10th.

Nico Rosberg wound up finishing in 5th place for that race. Lewis Hamilton took 1st,with Sebastian Vettel second and V.Bottas giving Williams their 1st podium of the year in 3rd.D.Ricciardo of Red Bull complete down in seventh, a letdown after the Renault-powered car challenged the Mercedes in Monaco the week prior.

Still, D.Ricciardo's young teammate, M.Verstappen, finished in fourth in Canada and many will be hoping that Ferrari and Red Bull can once again push Mercedes in both qualifying and on run day Sunday. Lewis Hamilton is now just nine points away from his teammate in the driver's championship. Sebastian Vettel and D.Ricciardo aren't far behind, either.
